Heidelberg – Worms
From Heidelberg downstream on the Neckar to its mouth and further on the Rhine to Worms: This day trip combines two rivers and two very different landscapes.
The day begins with the breakfast buffet on board as the ship passes through the lower Neckar section with its locks and the banks become flatter and wider. Behind Mannheim, the Rhine opens up.
In Worms there is time to explore the city: The Imperial Cathedral is a short walk from the landing stage, as are the Nibelungen Museum and the Jewish cemetery Heiliger Sand. Those who prefer to stay on the water can take the optional Rhine round trip.
On the return journey, the cake buffet is set up. Water, soft drinks, coffee, beer and wine are included throughout the day.
