The flagship of the White Fleet

The MS Queen Silvia is the newest ship of the White Fleet Heidelberg and is named after Queen Silvia of Sweden, who was born in Heidelberg. With the flagship, the "Queen Silvia", the Heidelberg shipping company expanded its fleet from five to six ships in 2016. For 47 years, the "Queen Silvia" was thus the first major new building of a Neckar passenger ship since the christening of the "Europa" in 1969. With the new ship, the character of passenger shipping is transformed: excursion ships become versatile event and cultural ships at the same time. In 2026, the MS Queen Silvia celebrates its 10-year anniversary.
