Hirschhorn – Eberbach
The Neckar between Heidelberg and Eberbach is one of Germany's most beautiful river stretches: narrow valley loops, the forested slopes of the Odenwald and castle after castle throughout. This day trip takes you along the entire route.
After departing from the Stadthalle landing stage, the day begins with the breakfast buffet on board. While you eat, the Neckar valley passes by – Neckargemünd, Neckarsteinach with its four castles, then Hirschhorn, the "pearl of the Neckar valley".
We dock in Eberbach, and you have around two and a half hours to explore the old town with its half-timbered alleys, enjoy a coffee at the market square or take a walk along the riverbank.
On the return journey, the cake buffet awaits. Water, soft drinks, coffee, beer and wine are included throughout the day.
