Day excursion to the Rheingau
A whole day on the water: In the morning we depart from the Stadthalle landing in Heidelberg and follow the Neckar to its confluence with the Rhine. From there we continue into the Rheingau – past vineyards, castles and riverside towns that have made this landscape famous.
On board, you start the day with breakfast, and warm food is served at midday. Coffee, tea, soft drinks, beer and wine are included throughout the journey – you don't have to worry about anything and can enjoy the passing landscape from the deck.
In Rüdesheim you have around two and a half hours on land. Enough time to stroll through the Drosselgasse, stop at a wine tavern or take the cable car up to the Niederwald Monument.
In the afternoon we return to Heidelberg. The return journey in the fading light over the Rhine and Neckar is for many guests the most beautiful part of the day.
